European Court on Human Rights to review two complaints related to Azerbaijan

Baku. Tamara Grigorieva -APA. On July 10, European Court on Human Rights will review two complaints related to Azerbaijan. According to APA, case #12528/05 was opened at the suit of Ahrar Party’s leader Vagif Mustafa Hajibeyli, who was arrested during the unauthorized meeting in Fuzuli Square of Baku in April, 2000. He sued under the Article 6.1 of the European Convention on Human Rights (right to a fair hearing) and the Article 2 (free action right). The author of the second suit is Leyli Musrafa Rahmanov, 70. She was dissatisfied with the decision of Azerbaijani courts on her relations with her daughter-in-law and sued under the Article 6.1 and 13 (right to an effective remedy for the psychological damage) and Protocol 1.1 (enjoyment of possessions).
