Ramil Usubov: â€œAzerbaijani police have been more operative over the past 5 yearsâ€

The Minister noted that combating crime, protection of public order was staunch process.
â€œInterior Ministry gained many successes on combating crime last year. Azerbaijan took one of the first places in this filed in CIS region. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev always controls the activity of the police and pays attentionâ€, he said. Usubov added that Azerbaijani police had been more operative over the past five years.
â€œIt shows that Interior Ministry has been provided with the cutting-edge equipment. The head of state especially pays attention to social protection of the police by improving work condition, increasing salaries, taking measures on meeting equipment with international standards. It has resulted with our success in combating crimesâ€, he said.
