Results of admission examinations in III specialty group to the vocational schools to be made public on July 3

Chairwoman of the State Commission on the Student Admission (TQDK) Malayka Abbaszadeh said at the briefing on Friday that 8665 planning places were allocated in III group this year, APA reports. 36783 applicants of 40552 in III group are the graduates from the Azerbaijani sector and 3769 from Russian. 10714 of the applicants are boys and 25838 are girls. 2343 applicants graduated from the secondary schools this year and 17119 are the graduates of previous years. 227 applicants in III group are the citizens of foreign countries. The oldest applicant was born in 1952 and the youngest in 1993. Abbaszadeh said the admission examinations would take place in Baku, Nakhchivan and Sumgayit cities. 57 buildings in Baku, 7 in Sumgayit and 3 in Nakhchivan will be venues of the examinations. 33973 applicants will take examination in Baku, 2041 in Nakhchivan and 4538 in Sumgayit. 243 examination chiefs and 2652 supervisor teachers are involved in the examinations in Baku and Sumgayit. Abbaszadeh said result of examinations would be checked on June 30 and points gained by the applicants would be announced in TGDK web-site. The applicants can add the high school specialties published in the 3rd issue of â€œAbiturientâ€ journal to their online applications on July 25-August 5. The list of specialties of the vocational schools will be issued in the next few days. The applicants can note about 8free and paid specialty codes to the same specialty group of the state-run and private high schools. If the applicant will pass the contest he will be placed in the first specialty code he noted in his online application. Abbaszadeh said this year passage points would be different than previous years and would be formed again.
