He said temperature in June was 3-4 C below the norm. Mammadov said the most canicular days would be registered in the second half of July and in August. Generally temperature regime is expected to be within a norm in July and higher as a result of southern streams. Monthly average temperature is forecasted to be 24-26 C in July, 33-35 C in the second half of July and 35C and even 39 C on the separate days. Rainfall will also be within a norm and it is expected a shade higher in Lankaran-Astara region. Mammadov said weather in August would be a little different from July and temperature will be same in both months. The temperature will be 35-38 C on separate days in August, 39 C and even 40 C on some days.
