Trial on the case of Agil Khalil fixed on June 24

Baku. Haji Zeynalovâ€“APA. Trial on the case of Sergey Strekalin accused of causing damage to the health of Agil Khalil, official of â€œAzadligâ€ newspaper has been held in Nasimi District Court today, APA reports.
The trial has been presided over by Shahin Abdullayev. The judge gave a caution to Strekalinâ€™s lawyer Akif Malikov. Elchin Sadigov, lawyer of Agil Khalil demanded time to familiarize with materials of criminal case. The trial has been fixed on June 24.
Strekalin faced charges under Articles 27.1 (The crime, committed by the person (action or inaction) that contains all grounds of the crime structure provided by the present Code, shall be admitted as completed) and 234.1. (Illegal purchase or storage without a purpose of selling of narcotics or psychotropic substances in a quantity (amount) exceeding necessary for personal consumption) of the Criminal Code.
