Baku. Mahbuba Gasimbayli-APA. 8047 crimes have been recorded within the five months of this year in the country. State Statistical Committee told APA that 49% pf the crimes were committed in Baku, 4% in Sumgayit, 3.6% in Gandja, 1.9% in Absheron, 1.8% in Jalilabad Region, 1.6% in Lankaran and 1.6% in Khachmaz regions. 5069 (79%) out of 6388 offenders were held accountable. 81.7% of those held accountable were able-bodied persons not working or studying anywhere, 9.7% ex-prisoners, 12.9% women, 3.1% juveniles. 42.8% of 3651 people injured in the aftermath of the crimes were women, 3.1% juveniles.
