Greek Week takes place in Baku

Baku. Lachin Sultanova-APA. A Greek Week has today opened in Hyatt Hotel in Baku. APA reports that ambassador of Greece in Azerbaijan Temistokles Dimidis addressing the event said that economic-commercial relations between the two countries had not reached the desired level and did not meet the existing opportunities. He said that the aim of holding the week was to give information about economic potential of Greece. â€œGreece is an ancient country and at the same time is a country having modern economic potential. Greece, which is located among three continents, plays an important role in establishing a bridge among these continents,â€ he said.
The ambassador said there was a good opportunity to get acquainted with Greek meals, music and Greek taste.
The guests were offered plenty of Greek meals from genuine Greek products prepared by the Greek chef, Ioannis Chasiotis, coming from Hyatt Hotel in Thessaloniki. Draw was held for the guests. The winners were given presents by the companies organizing the week and got chance to visit Greece.
