Court passes judgment on former officers of Azerbaijan Airlines State Concern

Baku. Haji Seynalov-APA. Court of Grave Crimes finished closed hearing on the case of former chief of aviation security department of Azerbaijan Airlines State Concern Emil Suleymanov and other 4 persons. APA reports that judge Mursal Aliyev presided over the trial. Emil Suleymanov was sentenced to 15 years in jail with confiscation of his property. The court sentenced other defendants â€“ former officers of National Security Ministry Rafet Aliyev to three years, former chief of executive management service of Aviation Security Department Tamerlan Mikayilov and former engineer of the service Tahir Esedzadeh to 2 and a half years, engineer-programmer of the department Faig Guliyev to 2 years in jail. The defendants were deprived of the right to hold a post for two years.
The defendants were accused of a number of grave crimes, as well as carrying illegal weapons and high treason.
