Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations purchases “Be-200†amphibious aircraft

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov –APA. Russian “Irkut†Corporation will send “Be-200†amphibious aircraft to Azerbaijan on April 15 according to agreement signed with the Ministry of Emergency Situations, APA reports.
The aircraft is in aircraft factory in Irkutsk and it is being tested.
The purchase agreement on “Be-200†amphibious aircraft was signed in 2007. Azerbaijan is one of the first countries purchased this aircraft. Greece, Portugal, Italy are conducting negotiations with “Irkut†Company to purchase amphibious aircrafts.
