Anar Badalbayli, the ministry officer for employment, said the employers and employment agencies have low relations in recruitment programs.
He added that two pilot projects have been initiated in Baku to test new technology which will intensify relations between employment agencies and employers.
Sefa Aliyev, Director of Sumgait Employment Department, added that the number of jobseekers fell to 23,000 from 30,000 in the city during past one year.
“Most of them are educated and specialized. Unfortunately, we can’t manage vocational training and qualification,” he added.
Gudrat Karimov, Chairman of Khazar Open Joint Stock Company, complained of lack of properly specialized jobseekers.
“Specialization is the main concern here. There is unemployment, we need employees but we can’t find employees,” he noted.
Anar Badalbayli called on employers to report about the fields for which they need employees.
“We qualify potential employees within 2-3 months,” he said. /APA-Economics/
