Azerbaijan to have presence in International Conference on the Millennium Development Goals Statistics

The Philippines through the National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB) in collaboration with different international organizations is hosting the 2007 International Conference on the Millennium Development Goals Statistics (ICMDGS) on â€“3 October 2007.
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will support the travel of participants from any of its developing member countries who can present a paper on good practice for reducing data gaps in the MDG indicators; or in the utilization of administrative reporting system.
All members of the Asian Development Bank are invited to the event.
Azer Ahmadov, head of international information exchange and data supply department of the State Statistical Committee, will represent Azerbaijan in the conference. He will make a speech on methodology to calculate poverty. /APA-Economics/
