Baku. Ilhama Isabalayeva – APA. The Employment Department of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Labor and Social Protection will begin holding job fairs in the country as from May 29. The first fair will be held in Neftchala. It is planned to hold fairs in all regions and cities. About 10 job fairs will be held in June. The fairs will be organized in the next few months.
About 45,000 people have been registered as unemployed in the employment service bodies of the republic. According to official and unofficial reports, 6.1-6.2 percent of the country’s population is unemployed.
