International congress â€œBaku Heart Daysâ€ starts

Baku. Elnur Mammadli â€“ APA. International congress â€œBaku Heart Daysâ€ organized by Azerbaijan Cardiovascular Surgery Society on the 86th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev has started today, APA reports. Making a keynote speech at the congress, chairman of the society Kamran Musayev said that the congress would last for three days. Musayev said about 70 specialists from 15 countries were attending the congress, urgent problems of cardiac surgery would be discussed at the congress.
â€œWe will discuss the recent achievements in the world science. These discussions will have great influence on the development of cardiology and cardiac surgery in Azerbaijan,â€ he said.

Deputy Health Minister Elsever Agayev said Azerbaijan was developing rapidly, health system was also developing. He attributed cardiac surgery in Azerbaijan to the name of Heydar Aliyev.
â€œCardiac surgery was founded in Azerbaijan 1970. Achievements were made after that,â€ he said.
Deputy Minister wished success to the three-day congress and said the ministry closely participated in the process.

Addressing the opening ceremony academician Jamil Aliyev also wished success to the congress.

Azerbaijani specialists and doctors from foreign countries will make speeches in the three-day congress.
