Automated Management System established in State Social Protection Fund presented

Baku. Ilhama Isabalayeva â€“ APA. Automated Management System established within the framework of the project â€œStrengthening the potential of State Social Protection Fundâ€ has been presented in Baku, APA reports. Chairman of State Social Protection Fund Salim Muslumov said the project had been implemented basing on the agreement signed with the UN Development Program in September, 2003. According to him, the fifth stage of the agreement is being realized, the aim of the stage is ensure efficient usage of Automated Management System in all local departments of the State Social Protection Fund.
UN resident-coordinator to Azerbaijan Bruno Pouezat said that the organization replied with pleasure to the appeal of Azerbaijani government to help conform the countryâ€™s pension-insurance system to the requirements of the 21st century. He said he was satisfied with the reforms carried out in this field in Azerbaijan.
â€œWe help to meet technical demands of the country. We have not offered much support in terms of budget. We give information to Azerbaijan about model experiences. Azerbaijan saw the Baltic states as a model some time ago, now Azerbaijan is a model itself. This is the result of the work done,â€ he said.
