Azerbaijani Minister of Education: â€œEvery school principal has an opportunity to provide security of studentsâ€

The minister said he didnâ€™t agree with some school principals that the government didnâ€™t allocate enough resources for them. â€œI think every school principal has enough opportunity to provide security of the school and its students. We have to take all measures to make the students and schoolchildren sure in their security provided by the government. We have to work for prevention of such events. I believe it will be first and last such event in Azerbaijanâ€.

The minister said there was no plan about the card-system entrance to the higher schools yet. â€œIt is not easy work because every day 15-20 thousand people enter the large higher schools. It is difficult to demand the studentâ€™s card from every student at the entrance because 20 thousand people have to enter the building within 15-20 minutesâ€.

Mardanov urged every representative of the society, including the school principals and parents to be more vigilant. â€œWe have to be attentive to every development or condition around us. Unfortunately we donâ€™t care about some issues and therefore we face with problemsâ€.

The Ministry of Education has an agreement with the special agency of the Interior Ministry to guard the higher schools. â€œThere is a security service, but it needs to be used intelligently and usefullyâ€.
