Temperature to be below normal in Azerbaijan on some days in May

The average monthly temperature is expected to be normal in Azerbaijan in May, Senior Hydrologist of the National Hydro-Meteorological Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry Asif Verdiyev told APA. The temperature will be low because passage of cold atmospheric fronts on some days and it will be higher in the third ten-day of May and above normal in some regions of the Great Caucasus.

The average monthly temperature was expected to be +18â€¦+19 C in Baku and Absheron and this is normal or one degree above normal. It will be +10â€¦+14 C at nights. The temperature is forecasted to be +18â€¦+23 C in daytimes and sometimes +25â€¦+30 C. Monthly precipitation amount is expected to be close normal (18-21 mm).

The average monthly temperature is predicted to be +18â€¦+20 C in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The temperature will be +11â€¦+16 C at nights and +25â€¦+28 C in daytimes and +30â€¦+32 in the third ten-day. Monthly precipitation amount is expected to be close normal (18-21 mm).

The average monthly temperature is forecasted to be +9â€¦+13 C in Upper Karabakh-Khankendi, Kalbajar, Khojavend, Zenglian, Gubadli, Shusha, Khojaly, Lachin, Dashkesen-Gedebey and this is one degree above normal. The weather temperature will be +4â€¦+9 C at nights and +10â€¦+15 C in daytimes, +19â€¦+24 C on separate days. Monthly rainfall will be nearly climate norms (68-122 mm).

+17â€¦+19 C average monthly temperature is expected in Gazakh-Ganja, Tartar, Aghdam-Fuzuli-Jabrail regions. It will be +10â€¦+14 C at nights and +18â€¦+22 C, +26â€¦+29 C on separate days. Monthly rainfall is expected to be nearly climate norms (43-68 mm).

+16â€¦+18 C average monthly temperature is expected in Balakan-Shaki-Zagatala, Shamakhi-Ismailli, Khizi, Siyazan-Devechi, Guba-Gusar-Khachmaz regions. The night temperature will be +9â€¦+13 C and +17â€¦+22 C in daytimes. It will be +24â€¦+27 C on separate days. Monthly rainfall will be nearly climate norms (76-166 mm).

+19â€¦.+21 C average monthly temperature is forecasted in the Central Lowland regions â€“ Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Kurdamir, Imishli, Ali-Bayramli, Sabirabad, Bilasuvar, Salyan and Neftchala. It will be +12â€¦+15 C at nights and +20â€¦+25 C in daytimes and +27â€¦+32 C on separate days. Monthly rainfall will be nearly climate norms (26-62 mm) and some higher.

+17â€¦+19 C is averagely forecasted for the Masalli-Lankaran-Astara-Lerik regions. It will be +11â€¦.+14 C at nights, +19â€¦+24 C in daytimes and +26â€¦+29 C on separate days. Monthly rainfall is expected to be nearly climate norms (41-72 mm).
