Baku. Ilhama Isabalayeva – APA. State Veterinary Service under the Ministry of Agriculture announced the results of bird flu monitoring conducted in the country from April 20. The service examined pathologic materials of 19 migrating birds and 13 poultries, as well as blood samples of 1955 poultries taken from the different farms of the country. No bird flu virus was identified in the samples, the State Veterinary Service told APA. The monitoring was conducted in the areas of Absheron peninsula settled by the migrating birds, Davachi, Salyan, Agjabedi and Lankaran regions. There were no ill or dead birds in those territories.
The State Veterinary Service said epizootic situation in the country is stable and the service scheduled to conduct next monitoring in autumn.
