Academy of Azerbaijan Ministry of Emergency Situations starts admission for 2009/2010 academic year

Baku â€“ APA. Academy of Azerbaijan Ministry of Emergency Situations started document acceptance for admission for 2009/2010 academic year, the ministry told APA. The applicants are required to be Azerbaijani citizens, above 160 cm height, age 16 plus, secondary-level education or attending senior classes, (applicants for the emergency and life security engineering are required to be at the age 17 until September 1, 2009), under 23 passed due military service or retired.

The applicants have to pass tests at the Special Medical Examination Commission of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and at the selection commissions according to the rules set by the ministry.

The applications of those, who successfully pass the tests and examinations, will be made official and they are allowed to attend the centralized test examinations within the schedule drawn by the State Commission for Student Admission.

The admission examination will be held on the subjects included in the 1st group of professions.

The examination terms will be available on Internet resources of the State Commission for Student Admission and media announcements.

The students enrolled in the Academy will be provided with eating, uniforms and accommodation, and will receive stipends.

The documents will be accepted from May 1 to 20 (except Sundays) at 10.00-18.00 in the building of the Binagadi District Firefighting Unit of the Firefighting Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (40, Seyidzadeh str., 9th m/d, Baku).

Duration of the education at the Academy is 4 academic years.

The education is in Azerbaijani.

The graduates get Bachelorâ€™s degree in fire security engineering and emergency and life security engineering, military and special ranks, as well as relevant posts in the system of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
