Azerbaijani singers attend Eurovision-2008 first semifinal today

Popular Serbian singer Jovana Janković and TV presenter Željko Joksimović will anchor the semifinal. At the end of each semifinal, 10 performers will be qualified for the finals. Montenegro, Israel, Estonia, Moldova, San-Marino Belgium, Azerbaijan, Slovenia, Norway, Poland, Ireland, Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Armenia, The Netherlands, Finland, Romania, Russia and Greece will attend the first semifinal on Tuesday. The second semifinal will take place on May 22. First semifinalists hold their last rehearsal today. According to APA, performance of Azerbaijani singers in the general rehearsal on May 19 was gained huge applauses. Norwegian and Greek delegations said their compatriots would vote for Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani citizens have a right to vote on May 20 in semifinal and on May 24 in final. They cannot vote for our representatives. Subscribers of all mobile operators in our country can vote and send 20 SMS from each number. SMS costs 50 kopeck. Azerbaijani citizens can vote for other 18 countries sending SMS to 8440. The voting will take 15 minutes.
