Azerbaijan ends first round of selection for Eurovision

The second round will be held a week later. 30 singers were listened in the first selection round, but the results are not known yet. Singer Roya refused to participate in selection round. It is also said that Irada Ibrahimova does not want to participate in selection round. Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Culture and Tourism Ministry, Youth and Sport Ministry conducted first selection round which was close. 13 of them were listened today. Youth and Sport Minister Azad Rahimov, professor Nargiz Pashayeva, director of Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre Akif Malikov, composers Vagif Garayzada, Faig Sujaddinov, peopleâ€™s artist Tarana Muradova are in the composition of jury. Samir Bagirov, Irada Ibrahimova, Ilhama Gasimova, Ayaz Gasimov, Samira, Nurlan Novrasli, Khayyam, Elton Huseynaliyev, â€œRastâ€ group, Elnara and other participate in the selection round.
Member of jury teymur Amrah said that they liked performance of Emil Aliyev. /APA/
