the rector of Baku Musical Academy, people’s artist Ferhad Badalbayli’s approach to diplomas was different. He told the APA.
“Rehid behbudov, Maestro Niyazi, Khan Shushinski has no diploma. professionalish should be demonstrated on the stage, diploma is not flag,†he said.
Badalbayli said that modern ether is advertising thouse who have no profession.
“Art is not finished with stage. All regard that art starts from stage and ends in show-business. There should be censorship in the profession. The democrat Flora Karimova also wants censorship. She is oppressed by it. There shpould be Artistic Council for coming on the stage.
There should be Art Council. Unprofessional ones appear on the stage today. An-hour TV programme is dedicated to a small scandal in the show business. So, does it mean our distinguished art figures Uzeyir Hajibeyov, Gara Garayev, Huseyn Javid, Settar Behlulzade were not needed? “Oluler†(“The Deadâ€) by Jalil Mammadguluzadeh was is masterpiece like the work by Shakespeare. Do our young generation prefer such works? No. The similar problem is characteristic for music now. Azerbaijan is very rich in moral resources. However, our youth is getting more and more unaware of this,†he said.
The rector said that censorship will be helpful to a certain extern to solve the problem adding that there are other problems besides music. /APA/
