17 August 2009 08:24 (UTC +04:00)

Baku. Ulkar Gasimova – APA. Izzy Gold Records said it’s about to meet the people behind the Azerbaijani national selection for the 2010 season of the Eurovision Song Contest. Whether this will lead to an American production to represent the country in Oslo, is yet to be revealed, APA reports quoting the official website of Eurovision song contest.
Izzy Gold Records President and co-founder, Izzy Gold aka Chris Young will visit Azerbaijan on the 25th of August till the 4th of September to introduce his style of music production there. Among other he’ll meet the people responsible for choosing the Azerbaijani contestant for the 2010 edition of Europe’s favourite TV-show. As last year the song was written by Arash, who has lived in Sweden for most of his life, then this might be a first sign which way Azerbaijan is going in 2010. However, nothing has yet been revealed by their broadcaster ITV.
"This is a tremendous opportunity for me to be involved with many unique and exciting musical collaborations. I feel that the success that I’ve had in America can easily be transferred to this rapidly expanding market. I’ve worked with many well-known American recording artists and the chance to work with Azerbaijani artists is very exciting," remarked Izzy Gold in a press release when asked about the importance of his upcoming trip.
