Aysel: â€œI receive many offers of marriage after the Eurovisionâ€ â€“ <font color=red> INTERVIEW - PHOTOSESSION</font>

Baku. Ulkar Gasimova â€“APA. Eurovision -2009 third place winner Azerbaijani singer Aysel Teymourzadeh returned home after the tour on several countries. She gives an interview and submitted her tour photos exclusively to APA.

- How is your impression about the tour?

- I returned home with good impression and good news. I had very successful tour. I performed together with Arash in the concert organized by famous Swedish radio. I was happy when heard that the concert presenter introduced us as â€œAzerbaijanâ€ and there were heavy applauses after her introduction. I didnâ€™t believe that they could welcome us so warmly. I am happy that we won their love even it was difficult. Our song â€œAlwaysâ€, I performed together with Arash and won third place at the Eurovision-2009, is on top ten of the Swedish radio. We left Sweden fro Moscow where we gave interviews to some TV channels. Then we visited Greece where we performed on the different stages and were interviewed by the local TV channels. We were invited to the Miss Greece contest and performed â€œAlwaysâ€ there. We were the guests of two high-rating TV programs.

-By the way, do you receive invitation to participate at the beauty contest?

- No. I didnâ€™t receive such invitation. I am a singer. How I can participate at this contest? I felt myself on that stage as on podium.

- How were you welcomed in Greece? What interesting events did you see there?

-There was very good welcoming. I didnâ€™t know that I could be so known in Greece. There were very interesting events. During the TV program one of the viewers fainted when he saw me and then he told me that he was very happy to meet me. He presented to me flowers and golden pendant. We attended the Eurovision 2005 winner Helena Paparizouâ€™s concert in Greece. She invited me and Arash to the stage and we performed â€œAlwaysâ€ there. Our song is on top ten of local radios in Greece. I decided to give very rich concert program in Greece in future.

-Did you meet Sakis Rouvas in Greece?

- We scheduled to meet with Sakis Rouvas. But he was on a holiday together with his daughter. We heard very good opinion about Sakis. They told us he is very good father.

- Do you contact with other participants of the Eurovision 2009?

- No. I am talking regularly only with Arash.

- Did you have an opportunity to be on holiday?

- Yes. I need it after the Eurovision. I was on a holiday in Moscow and Greek islands several days. I am planning to take a holiday in August too, but I donâ€™t choose the place for it.

- Undoubtedly you are receiving invitations nowâ€¦

-There are many invitations and even I have no idea about some of the proposals. I returned home yesterday and I will learn the proposals in the next few days. I was invited to Turkey early in July to attend the festival. Alexander Rybak will also be there. There are many concert and advertisement proposals. I gave my childhood piano to an orphan home. I learned to play in this piano. It is an instrument of 18th century. I hope that new talents will learn to play just in this piano. I will be happy to see that.

-Do you continue to work with Arash?

-Yes. I do. He is composing new songs for me. We will issue my album together with Arash and his team. I believe it will be a perfect album, which will be spread not only in Azerbaijan, but in the European countries as well.

- Will you release your albums in Azerbaijan?

- No. The albums will be released by Sony BMG and Warner Music, In July, I will release Malikovâ€™s single â€œSay May Beâ€.

- Did you choose any repertoire for you?

- I am working on my repertoire and I wish introduce very interesting repertoire to the viewers. We are working very nice songs. Arash is composing new songs exclusively for me and I will include these songs in my repertoire. I want everything to be perfect and therefore I am not rushing to release albums, disks.

-On July 10 you will perform on the same stage with Turkeyâ€™s representative Hadise. Are you excited to perform for Azerbaijani audience?

-I am looking forward to that day. I will perform for Azerbaijani audience for the first time after the Eurovision. It is a responsible and wonderful feeling. To feel the great love in your motherland is irreplaceable. I do not what I will wear in the concert. I have been invited to the concert as a special guest.

-May Arash perform that day?

-It is difficult for me to answer this question. Arash has his own schedule, I can not say it. No talks have been held with Arash concerning the concert.

-Does Arash plan to come to Baku soon?

-Yes, he does. Arash will possibly come to Baku soon. We have become close friends. We even want to give concert in Baku soon. Together with Arash I will perform new songs. But we do not plan a new duo with Arash. I am working on solo performance.

-You wanted to be introduced as simply Aysel, without surnameâ€¦

-Simply I want to be recognized as Aysel, I also want my name to sound simple. The main reason is that in future I want to make Aysel a brand.

-Maybe more people want to marry you after Eurovisionâ€¦ Are you thinking of marriage?

-After Eurovision most of my relatives, acquaintances wanted to marry. I do not want to hurt anybody. But love cannot be forced. I can not force my heart. I receive e-mails, letters and flowers. I receive letters from Denmark and Norway. For now I have no plans concerning my private life.

-What kind of a man would you like to marry?

-The main thing for me is beautiful heart. It is enough for me. Then I can concern myself with his other features. I will never marry a man who has no beautiful heart.

-Are you going to change your image?

-I have no concrete thoughts about it. If I make changes, they will not be serious changes. I like to remain as I am. I am afraid of being regarded as arrogant. We indeed performed successfully. There were changes both in terms of professionalism and career, but my character has not changed. I do not like arrogance.

-Do you feel jealousy towards you after the successful performance in the contest?

-I felt jealousy from the first day. Of course I regret it. Even before Eurovision I heard rumors about me that I was shocked. The people, who did not know me well, spread those rumors. How can they do it without being sure? Then I ignored everything, believed in myself. If I had not ignored those rumors, I would not have held this place.

-What is the cause of the jealousy? Maybe they are afraid that you can take their placeâ€¦

-It is impossible. I have always thought that nobody can take the place of anyone. Everyone has his place. I have no such an intention, because I have my own place.

-What about the rumors about Arash and you that spread during the contest?

-The rumors still continue. The rumors slackened in Azerbaijan after they knew that Arash would marry. But we were asked in Greece, Moscow. We said it was not true, we were simply friends. But they said: â€œYou are a good coupleâ€.

-Does Arashâ€™s fiancÃ©e is jealous of you? Do you know her?

-Yes, I do. We had got acquainted before the Eurovision. She believes in our sincere relations. There is no reason to be jealous. Neither Arash, nor I give cause for jealousy. I do not think she is jealous. She knows that we are like sister and brother. We could not go with us to the foreign countries, as she works. They will marry next summer.

-What presents did you get after the contest?

-I got a lot of presents. Two-room flat, home theater and many other things. I was given a very beautiful diamond ring just on board the planeâ€¦

-Do you plan to leave for Oslo to support Azerbaijanâ€™s representative next year?

-After the contest, Arash and I said we would go to Norway to support our representative. We will certainly leave for Oslo.

-How would you like to represent Azerbaijan in Eurovision-2010?

- I can not name. I only want to say that Azerbaijan successfully performed for two years running. In the first performance Azerbaijan ranked the 8th and in the second the 3rd. This is a wonderful result. The whole Azerbaijan expects the first place next year. I am looking forward to it. The 3rd place was equal to the victory. But I want Azerbaijan to win. No matter who will represent Azerbaijan next year, that representative should work hard. I wish success to Azerbaijan. Eurovision brought success to me. I promise to continue representing Azerbaijan abroad.
