The final match was held between the teams of the religious communities of Mashadi Dadash mosque and Sumgayit Jumah mosque, Press Service of State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations told APA.
The match’s score was 3-3. In post-match penalty shootouts, Sumgayit Jumah mosque became the winner of the tournament.
After the match, an awards ceremony was held. Deputy Chairman of the Committee Gunduz Ismayilov noted that the match held among religious communities under organization of State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations and support of National Tolerance Centre is not only a simple football tournament, but also a clear evidence of tolerance model of Azerbaijan for world.
The winners were awarded medals and cup of the tournament.
Teams of Islamic, Christian and Jewish religious communities operating in Azerbaijan competed in the tournament.
