Turkish companies invest $5bn in projects across Azerbaijan’s liberated territories

Nearly 20 Turkish companies are implementing close to 50 projects in the liberated territories, with a total value of approximately $5 billion, Prime Minister Ali Asadov said at the II Azerbaijan–Türkiye Investment Forum, APA-Economics reports.

The Prime Minister noted that all necessary favorable conditions have been created for doing business in the country’s special economic zones: “I would like to particularly highlight the Alat Free Economic Zone, which offers attractive conditions for investors. A number of Turkish companies are already operating in these special economic zones. We see good prospects for cooperation in investment here. Therefore, we invite Turkish companies to be more active,” the Prime Minister said.
