Design works continue within the framework of the second phase of the Baku International Sea Trade Port, Eldar Salahov, Director of the Baku Port, told journalists, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, the initial results of the process will already be achieved.
"The second phase of the Baku International Sea Trade Port will give us a capacity of at least 25 million tons and more than half a million TEU container equivalent. Currently, design work is ongoing. The initial results will be known in the coming months," Eldar Salahov noted.
He added that the work on the first phase of the Baku Port has already been completed.
