During the 11 months of this year, more than 1 ton 600 kg of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their psychoactive preparations have been removed from illegal circulation, said the Chairman of the State Customs Committee, Shahin Baghirov, at the event “Customs Business Forum 2025,” APA-Economics reports.
According to him, as a result of the activities carried out by the State Customs Committee during 2022–2024, more than 1 ton 900 kg, and in 11 months of the current year, more than 1 ton 600 kg of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their psychoactive preparations were removed from illegal circulation.
