Digital frameworks will be defined for enterprises with the aim of expanding digitalization in the liberated territories and in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, APA reports.
This is reflected in the “Strategy for the Development of the Digital Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026–2029,” approved by the Order of President Ilham Aliyev.
According to the Strategy, the Ministry of Economy, together with the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, must ensure the following during 2026–2029:
- development of criteria for digital frameworks for enterprises,
- at least 20 enterprises carrying out their activities in accordance with the relevant framework,
- at least 50 enterprises operating based on the digital framework,
- and an increase of at least 20 percent in the share of digital activity in the liberated territories and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
