AZAL organizes alternative flights to ensure transport connection with Nakhchivan

Due to the recent events, all flights scheduled for March 5, 2026, on the Baku–Nakhchivan–Baku route have been canceled, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) told APA-Economics.

In order to ensure transport connection from Baku to Nakhchivan for Azerbaijani citizens, flights have been scheduled from Baku to the Turkish city of Igdir and in the opposite direction. Special buses have been organized to transport passengers from Igdir Airport to Nakhchivan and vice versa. Bus services will operate through the Nakhchivan bus terminal.

Flight schedule planned for March 5, 2026, on the Baku–Igdir–Baku route (all times are indicated in local time):

Passengers are requested to arrive at the airport at least one and a half hours before the flight and to carry their foreign passports or new-generation identity cards.

AZAL continues to closely monitor the current situation and is taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of flights. Passengers will be promptly informed about any changes in the flight schedule.
