"A special postage stamp has been created as a joint initiative of AZAL and Azerpost, the stamp features the infinity symbol and the flight number," said Ilham Amirov, Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), in a briefing for journalists, APA-Economics reports.
Ilham Amirov noted that, although this postage stamp is a small symbol, it will reach people worldwide and help inform them about the incident:
“Funds raised from the sale of the postage stamps will be directed to the children of martyrs, particularly for their education, and will also be used for social assistance. In the initial phase, around 5000 copies have been printed as a symbolic gesture. However, if demand increases, the print run of the stamps is planned to be expanded.”
