AZAL: 209 Azerbaijani citizens evacuated from Jeddah to Baku

Due to the situation in the Middle East, Azerbaijani citizens whose flights were canceled are being safely evacuated from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to Baku, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) told APA-Economics.

According to the information, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft belonging to AZAL is expected to land at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in the coming hours. A total of 209 citizens are being returned to the country through this evacuation flight.

At present, as the national air carrier, AZAL is carrying out flights safely and in an organized manner in accordance with procedures established by the relevant authorities.

It should be noted that evacuation flights from other destinations in the Middle East to Baku are planned in the coming days.
