Today, the main direction of investment projects is Karabakh and East Zangezur, said Prime Minister Ali Asadov during the discussion of the draft law "On the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026" submitted for discussion at today's session of the Milli Majlis, APA reports.
The prime minister noted that, under the direct leadership and participation of the President, rapid reconstruction and restoration work is being carried out in the territories liberated from occupation. He said: “In total, since 2020, including 2026, more than 25 billion manats have been allocated from the state budget for the restoration of the liberated territories (3.5 billion manats for 2026). A large share of these funds has been directed toward infrastructure projects, and the additional value they will create for our economy is expected in the medium and long term. We must take this into account.”
