Air passenger traffic in Azerbaijan rises 3.7% as air freight declines in January–November

From January to November of this year, 3,825.4 thousand passengers were transported by air in Azerbaijan, which is 3.7% more compared to the corresponding period last year, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Statistical Committee.

According to the information, during the reporting period, 99.9% of the transportation was carried out by state-owned vehicles, and 0.1% by private enterprises.

“It is noted that freight transport by this mode decreased by 5.2%, amounting to 356.5 thousand tons,” the report states.
