Georgia repairs Russian-hit bridge

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA-Economics. The repair of a key railway bridge 45km west of the capital Tbilisi that was blown up during Russian offensive in Georgia has been completed, said Isfandiyar Kerimov, Officer of Azerbaijan State railways Company.
He added that the bridge will be tested on September 12.
According to him, shipments from Azerbaijan to Georgia by rail didn’t slow down.
During Russian invasion, some transport and communications infrastructure, including Baku-Tbilisi-Batumi and Baku-Tbilisi-Poti railways were damaged.
