Baku. Suleyman Farzaliyev - APA. Azerbaijani Minister of Transport Ziya Mammadov received Iran’s Deputy President on economic and control Ali Agamohammadi, chief of press service of the Iranian embassy in Azerbaijan Abbas Isgandar told APA.
Mammadov touched upon joint historical relations of Iran and Azerbaijan, noted the importance of cooperation between the two countries in all spheres. Agreement has been achieved on building of roads, construction of Gazvin-Rasht-Anzali-Astara highway by Iranian side, as well as construction of Astara-Baku highway by Azerbaijani side. Moreover, satisfactory discussions were held on building of North-South railway.
Along with this, agreement has been achieved on simplification of customs issues, lengthening of customs working hours and creating of working group consisting of specialists.
