Baku. Aynur Veliyeva - APA-Economics. Nar Mobile has announced that it installed 17 more new stations to enhance its network coverage throughout the country

New stations were installed in Baku (8), on Absheron peninsula (1), in Sumgait (1), Gusar (2), Khanlar (1), Astara (1), Salyan (1), Guba (1), Dashkasan (1).

Nar Mobile will continue installation of new base stations in Baku, as well as in regions.

At present Azerfon LLC provides 1.3 million of subscribers with high-quality communication covering area with 90 % population of the country.

AZERFON LLC launched its commercial activities in 21st of March, 2007 under brand name Nar Mobile. The trademark Nar was created as a symbol of the relationship between Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage and modern life.
Today the network coverage of Azerfon reaches 80% of territory of Azerbaijan Republic. Currently, over 1.300 000 of subscribers use the network of Azerfon. In 2009 an agreement on non-stock partnership was signed between AZERFON LLC and Vodafone Company.
