ICAO to hold a conference in Turkey

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA-Economics. Turkish Directorate General of Civil Aviation will host the ICAN 2009 Air Negotiations Conference in Istanbul between 28 September- 02 October 2009.
This event organized by International Civil Aviation Organization for the second time, is primarily organized for aviation negotiators from different States to conduct bilateral (and regional or plurilateral if so desired) air services negotiations or consultations in a central meeting place.
190 ICAO member countries will be invited to the conference and important issues such as redevelopment of aviation services and cooperation opportunities will be discussed. The conference which participator countries will both have the opportunity to perform bilateral negotiations and to evaluate different issues on the aviation filed multilaterally has a great importance in terms of introducing present potential of Turkish Civil Aviation and market opportunities.

The conference will have a forum character that affinities of the sector and crucial issues which are on the agenda will be learnt. Also, at the same time the conference will bring the opportunity to perform bilateral and unilateral civil aviation negotiations within the same place for the States.
Azerbaijani delegation will also attend the conference and hold bilateral negotiations on the sidelines of the event.
