Azercell Telekom launches Barama project
Azercell’s purpose behind the project is not only to present new solutions and improvements in the telecom sphere, but also contribute to the social welfare as well as economic development of the country.
Barama project’s main objective is to explore new ideas, evolve them to maturity and eventually make them a reality. In order to do so, Azercell has decided to establish a brand new office that will be allocated particularly for participants of Barama and will offer them all necessary assistance, opportunities and conditions to develop their ideas. The new Barama office is located in the Old City (“Icheri Sheherâ€) and was established as a result of cooperation with and support of the Department of State Historical-Architectural Reserve Icheri Sheher under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic. The office, which is considered for hosting approximately 20 project participants at a time, will be modernly equipped, offering the participants all necessary communication means and technological support.
In order to participate in the project, interested people should send their ideas to Azercell by filling in the application form online at www.azercell.com/barama and submit it along with other supplementary documents stated in the application form. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis, which means there is no certain deadline for idea submission. The expectation is that suggested ideas will bear certain values to be competitive, meaning that they will possess such features as creativeness, innovation, social-economic benefits etc. Once the application is submitted, the evaluation of the suggested idea will be carried out by Azercell.
While applications are continuously submitted and evaluated by Azercell, ideas that match objectives of the project the best will be identified and idea owners informed about acceptance of their ideas, meaning that they will be given the opportunity to become a participant in Barama project. Participants will be offered a workspace in Azercell’s newly established Barama office, where they will be expected to work on and develop their suggested ideas. While working on the development of their ideas, participants will be offered various professional trainings aimed at improving their business knowledge and awareness, as well as technical assistance and support by Azercell employees in Marketing, Finance, Legal, IT and other spheres upon necessity. Depending on the complexity of the suggested idea, participants will be given limited time for bringing their ideas to the state of maturity. Once the idea is ready for implementation, ownership rights of the idea will stay with the participant himself/herself and all relevant (applying) legal terms will be taken into account. As participants complete developing their respective ideas, they leave the project and free workspaces are assigned to new candidates, who join the project and follow the same steps. Hence, ideas developed in the office are being continuously updated with new ones.
Barama targets to explore and subsequently achieve realization of valuable and innovative ideas by combining human creativity and Azercell’s rich market and industry experience.
