The Interior Ministry’s press service confirmed the fact to APA.
Tarana Aghayeva, a resident of Narimabad village of Lankaran district, went missing in 2012. After investigative actions, the girl’s brother Fuad Aghayev was detained as suspect. In his testimony, Aghayev confessed to killing his sister, noting that he buried the body in a non-residential area near the village. However, the girl’s body was not found in that place. Then, Fuad Aghayev changed his testimony, claiming that he threw the remains of the body into the sea.
