The wildfires that broke out in open areas near the villages of Kangarli and Papravand in Azerbaijan's Aghdam district were extinguished by the forces of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations before they could spread to surrounding areas, despite the fact that the affected areas were mined and weather conditions were windy, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a statement, APA reports.
