Two people have been detained, and three others have been charged in connection with the bloody incident that took place on January 5 in the village of Gara Tahla in the Gardabani district of Georgia, APA's local bureau reports, citing the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the information, the detained individuals, born in 2000 and 1995, are accused of attempted murder, forcible encroachment on someone else's property, and group violence against two or more people.
The investigation determined that a dispute among six people living in Gardabani escalated into a physical confrontation, resulting in two people being injured with a knife.
During the confrontation, one person also intentionally drove his car into two people, resulting in a person named F.A. dying on the spot. Four injured people were taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing. The crime is punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
Note that the incident began at a wedding ceremony in the village of Gara Tahla. The person who died during the physical altercation, Fail Aliyev, is said to have been the master of ceremonies (toastmaster) at the wedding.
