Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday held a phone call with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to discuss the recent Mecca agreement with Saudi Arabia and Türkiye, APA's Tehran bureau reports.
The two top diplomats exchanged views on current geopolitics, placing particular emphasis on the evolving situation across the region and ongoing efforts to promote long-term peace and stability.
Dar also outlined the key framework of the recently signed Mecca Joint Defense Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye.
The Pakistani Foreign Minister highlighted the pact’s core objectives, emphasizing its intent to strengthen strategic cooperation and contribute to broader regional peace and security.
