A student has shot and injured a teacher in Baku, APA reports.
At around 09:00 on February 6, an incident occurred outside the private Idrak Lyceum, located on Ziya Bunyadov Avenue in the Binagadi district.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a 10th-grade student, identified as A.Sh., came to the school with a hunting rifle belonging to his father and opened fire, injuring a teacher identified as Sh.K., a 28-year-old female mathematics teacher. The shooting reportedly occurred during a lesson.
Police officers detained the student and seized the hunting rifle.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
