State Border Service detains six Nigerians at Azerbaijan-Georgia border

Six foreign nationals who attempted to cross the state border illegally have been detained, the State Border Service's Press Center told APA.

It was reported that, within the service area of the “Zagatala” Border Detachment of the State Border Service's Border Troops, six citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria - Oliver Osagie Iguare (born in 1980), Adesoji Austin Ogungbure (born in 1986), Olamilekan Sunday Akinniyi (born in 1992), Moshood Adekunle Adele (born in 1994), Tamarasinla Gloria King (born in 1997), and Oluvafemi Moses Ajala (born in 1998)- who attempted to illegally cross the state border from the Republic of Azerbaijan toward Georgia were detained as a result of operational and military measures.

Operational-investigative measures are ongoing regarding the incident.
