A report was received by the Ministry of Emergency Situations' "112" hotline that three people had drowned in an unmonitored section of the sea located 1.3 kilometers from the nearest water rescue station in the Buzovna settlement of Khazar district, Baku, APA reports, citing the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Upon receiving the report, diver-rescuers of the Ministry's State Service for Control over Small-Sized Vessels and Water Rescue were immediately dispatched to conduct search operations.
Aysel Rafig Hamidova, born in 2009, was rescued, provided with first aid, and handed over to the relevant authorities. The body of Ali Rafig Hamidov, born in 2014, was found on the shore.
The search is currently ongoing for another person believed to have drowned, Ruslan Rafig Hamidov, born in 2004.
