The Prosecutor General’s Office will do everything possible to investigate the criminal case that occurred in Yekaterinburg, said Nemat Avazov, head of the Investigation Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office, at a briefing held by the Prosecutor General’s Office regarding the torture and intentional killing of Azerbaijani citizens in the Russian Federation, APA reports.
He noted that the Prosecutor General’s Office, remaining faithful to the Constitution of Azerbaijan, considers it its duty to investigate crimes committed against the country’s citizens: “Therefore, an investigation has been initiated on our part. We will use all legal mechanisms and strive to bring the perpetrators to justice.”
