A wanted person in Türkiye was detained in Baku and brought to the country, APA reports citing the Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the information, as a result of a joint operation conducted within the framework of cooperation between the Turkish and Azerbaijani police, the location of Ö.A.K., who was accused of opening fire on businesses and extorting money from businessmen by threatening them, was determined.
Ö.A.K., who had an arrest warrant for two separate incidents on charges of intentional homicide, drug possession and illegal firearms, was detained in Baku and sent to Türkiye.
The Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs thanked the Azerbaijani Police for their cooperation.
