A total of 15,420 crimes were registered across the country in the first half of this year, APA reports.
This was announced at an expanded board meeting reviewing the work carried out by the prosecution authorities in the first half of 2026.
It was noted that 90.7% of the crimes were solved. Overall, investigations were completed in 7,893 criminal cases nationwide, of which 470 were investigated by the prosecution authorities.
The prosecution authorities completed the preliminary investigation into 269 criminal cases, while a total of 5,511 criminal cases were completed jointly with other investigative bodies and referred to the courts for consideration.
