Representatives of Human Rights Commissionerâ€™s Office meet with persons detained in 10 March protests

Human Rights Commissioner’s press service told APA that the representatives of the Human Rights Commissioner’s Office met with the persons detained in the protests on March 10, 2013, concerned themselves with the detention conditions and treatment.

Mahammad Majidli, Babek Hasanov, Turkel Alisoy, Elvin Bayjan and Ilkin Rustamzadeh, who were administratively detained, did not complain of the detention conditions or treatment.

Some of them said they were dissatisfied with the crowded detention facility of Sabail district police office, where they had been held earlier.

Doctor, who is a member of the National Preventive Group, examined them, found no health problems.

It was determined that one of the detainees phoned his family in accordance with the legislation.

10 other persons were also received.

Necessary recommendations were given to the administration of the facility.
