Gojayev noted that the situation is normal in the region now: “Any tension is out of the question. The situation is under control in Ismayilli and everyone is busy with their own affairs.”
He also commented on the reports about mass arrests in the region: “I can not say anything about arrests in the region. We haven’t detained anyone. The investigation on the case is being carried out by the Prosecutor’s Office. Therefore, I can not say anything about it”.
Press service of the Interior Ministry told APA that Prosecutor General’s Office and Interior Ministry are expected to issue joint statement on criminal case launched into the incidents in Ismayilli region today.
